In 2003, Rachael and Teo Luna founded a small, private language institute in Tehuacán. Their goal was to provide quality English language classes for students in the local community. Classes began in May in a small one-room office in the heart of downtown with just four teenage students. The following summer, Heslington brought down its first team of 6 American teachers and expanded into a larger four-room office. In 2005, Help began its unique children’s program based around communicative workshops (Cooking Corner, Science, Arts and Crafts, P.E., Storytime and Games). Over the past fifteen years, Help! has brought hundreds of foreign teachers (from the US, Canada, the UK and Oceania) who have shared their talents and skills with thousands of students from Tehuacán and the surrounding areas. Help! continues to strive to reach its goal of : Forming new generations who have an excellent level of English and are capable of competing in a globalized world. We work for our students and the community and strive to form Mexicans of distinction.
